Winter Adventure Season Begins
Growing up hitting the Wisconsin hills every so often, I dreamed of skiing in Colorado. I never thought I'd find myself in my current fortunate position. With some help from my brother-in-law, Santa Claus, and a fellow bigfoot, I'm all set for a fun winter. Paul and I hit the slopes yesterday.
I was looking forward to my first ski season in Colorado, but wasn't sure if I'd have the funds to take full advantage. It started with a pair of hand-me-down skis from Paul. Then Santa Claus delivered an early gift in the form of a 5 Mountain Ski Pass! The only thing left was to locate a pair of affordable clown ski boots. It only took 2 shopping trips to hit jackpot. Colorado Ski & Golf found a 3 year old pair of boots which had been special ordered, but never picked up. They were willing to get rid of the $480 boots for $150. I don't know why this guy (I think his name was Bob Lanier) never showed, but I'm thankful!
We are lacking some snow so far, but found enough up 13,000 feet at Arapahoe Basin to break in the season:

Ah, the fresh mountain air.

Paul pulled the trigger a little late on this shot. I actually
just landed a double flip.

Oh Ryan, you don't need skis, we all know your regular shoes will do!!!
