Last weekend I made a quick trip home for my cousin Daryl's wedding reception in Chicago.  Doc and Andrea were married in Aruba last month and had a second celebration at Gibson's in Chi-town. 

I landed at O'Hare on Saturday just in time for lunch at Doc's new restaurant, The Boundary at Damen and Division.  (I recommend the mac 'n cheese bites and the fish tacos). 

It's been a banner year for the O'Connor family.  After only one wedding in the last 15 years, 2007 brought four!  It was another grand event, as it's always great to gather the entire extended clan.  The many projector screens around the reception were a nice touch, as they played the beautiful beachfront wedding in Aruba for those not able to make the trip.  During his speech, Doc told his tale of how he figured it was time to hang up the bachelor cleats after reaching the top of the mountain when he was named Chicago's Hottest Doctor in '06.  He wisely closed out by explaining that the award was dwarfed by the honor of being Andrea's husband.  Good save, Doc.  

We are happy for you Daryl and Andrea!  It's easy to see that you're a perfect match.
