Greetings from Ireland
Blogging live from Dingle Town, County Kerry - home of my O'Connor ancestors.
We arrived in Dublin Tuesday morning, and after a night there we set off for the West coast town of Galway City. On Thursday we made our way down the coast to the tiny village of Doolin, and today we arrived in Dingle. We just made a beautiful drive around the peninsula and will be doing some hiking tomorrow. We'll spend the rest of the weekend in Killarney. We've become huge fans of satellites and their benefactors - namely GPS systems! Although 'Gretchen' (as we've named our GPS system) has failed to warn us about 3 traffic jams due to cow crossings.
More stories and many photos to come. Just wanted to log in with a quick report.
Cheers.
