5 down

In the past 6 weeks, two more Estrogen Palace weddings have taken place.  For those of you keeping track, that means 5 are married, 1 is engaged, and 2 others are, while involved with serious significant others, still "playing the field."

We were not able to attend the first of these two weddings because of Erin and Ryan's wedding on August 30th.  We were sad to not be there but the bride, Karen Benedetti, and her groom, Nate Magestad were definitely in our prayers on their wedding day.  They got married at Sugar Lake Lodge in a northern Minnesota town close to where Nate is from.  From the pictures and stories, it was obviously a beautiful wedding and joyful celebration.

The second of these weddings, I was able to attend after some master planning on flights and the extreme generosity of my parents to drive separate cars to pick us up and then drive WELL into the late night/early morning hours to get Ryan and I each where we wanted to be.  Debbie Rose married Joe Wronka at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.  It was a beautiful ceremony followed by some good 'ole Louisville fun on Bardstown Road and then a great party at one of the most unique sites I've been to for a wedding reception (and remember this is number EIGHT for this 2008 calendar year).

Karen and Nate as well as Debbie and Joe are wonderful couples and we wish them all the joy and blessings we can as they begin their lives together.  The Estrogen Palace girls have definitely been blessed with the spouses that we have acquired over the past 15 months and we look forward to creating even more memories as our group continues to grow.

I think Joe learned to dance for just this occasion.
