Thank You MJ and D-Rob

I must pay tribute to my two favorite basketball players of all time, as today they were both inducted into the Hall of Fame.  What can you say about Michael Jordan?  Has there ever been/will there ever be an athlete more fun to watch?  ESPN has put together their Top 23 MJ moments.  Whether you're a Bulls fan or not, take a few minutes.  Treat yourself.  Watch all 23 plays.  I dare you to try to keep from smiling.  Try not to shake your head in awe.  I could tell you where I was during most of these moments.  It usually involved jumping for joy in front of a television like a madman.

Simply ridiculous.

David Robinson was my idol for a different reason.  While he was no Michael Jordan, he was no Will Perdue either.  But his skills were overshadowed by something greater.  In an age when NBA players became known for their rap sheets more than their exemplary characters, The Admiral broke the mold. Class and character aren't strong enough words to describe him.  He modeled a true soldier for Christ, and he made it "cool" - which was very powerful for a high school kid to see.

This article had a profound impact on my life.
