Catholics - Beware of "Second Collection" this Sunday
You might remember every year (on the Sunday before Thanksgiving) the USCCB collects money for its Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) in churches across the nation. Beware. If your parish participates this weekend, please think twice before giving to this organization. The CCHD has recently come under intense scrutiny upon the discovery that several of its beneficiaries carry out an extremely anti-life/anti-Catholic agenda. How this could occur is beyond me, but stranger things have happened.

The evidence is pretty intense, as major CCHD dollars have landed in the hands of those Campaigning for Human Development Destruction. The Bishops have posted a few initial responses to these allegations, but it seems to me they have a bit more explaining to do.
Since at this point too many unanswered questions remain, I will be placing this coupon in the second collection basket on Sunday.
