To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept our gift in support of the holy mission of Franciscan University.

We are graduates of the University of Notre Dame.  This money represents the donation amount required by our alma mater in order to qualify for the football ticket lottery.  In years past, this donation was at the top of our priority list.  However, since the inexcusable act of bestowing high honors upon the most anti-Christian leader and aggressive champion for child-killing in American history, our eyes have been opened.  Furthermore, our subsequent research unveiled the reality that this event was far from being a gaffe made by an otherwise devout Catholic institution; rather, it was the culmination of a 46-year pact with the Enemy.

By the grace of God, the infiltration of the Church by those seeking to destroy her has now come into focus for us.  The secularization of Catholic higher education has played no small role in undermining the Church’s sacred teachings and destroying our country’s social order.  We now have a much greater appreciation for those few schools still deserving of the name Catholic, and we believe Franciscan University is leading the charge.

The approaching tidal wave of a Catholic sub-culture on fire for Christ and loyal to His Church’s teachings is truly inspiring!  As this so-called “JPII Generation” of Catholics is formed in the splendor of truth, it is phenomenal to count the number of leading scholars educated in Steubenville.  Personally, we have been directly impacted by the teachings of dozens of Franciscan graduates.  Thank you for being a bright beacon of light to the world.  May you remain anchored to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and further your holy mission in great service to humanity.
