And so it begins...

The weather starts to cool (hopefully!), the leaves begin to change color, weekends are planned around tailgates and game times, and most importantly, the RFL season begins.

Obviously as a two-time champion I look forward to the RFL every year, maybe even more this season since I'm no longer gainfully employed.  I'm looking forward to providing some income to this family.  It's usually pretty easy money!  **I will retract this statement when I am out of running for 1st place!**

John Paul and I finished decently for our first week, scoring 3 behind the leader.  I'm trying to show him the tricks of the trade.  Lesson one, winning weeks is good but even if you can't win, stay close.  Lesson two, don't take an early lead, the pressure is too much to sustain over 12 weeks.  I'm sure JP will continue to learn a lot as the season progresses.

JP did oblige his father and pose for a picture this weekend with his Bears gear on.  **Lesson three, winners cheer for the COLTS!**

Good luck football fans, have a great season!
