To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept our gift of $300 in support of the holy mission of Christendom College.
We are graduates of the University of Notre Dame. This money represents the donation amount required by our alma mater in order to qualify for the football ticket lottery. In years past, this donation was at the top of our priority list. However, with the inexcusable act of bestowing high honors upon the most anti-Christian leader and aggressive champion for child-killing in American history, we were scandalized. The event sent us searching for answers. Our subsequent research unveiled a stark reality: this event was far from being a gaffe made by an otherwise devout Catholic institution; rather, it was an expected move from a university that had sold its soul almost a half-century prior.
By the grace of God, the infiltration of the Church by those seeking to destroy her has now come into focus for us. The secularization of Catholic higher education has played no small role in undermining the Church’s sacred teachings and destroying our country’s social order. We now have a much greater appreciation for those few schools deserving of the name Catholic.
Christendom’s commitment to reject federal money in order to avoid secular pressure and maintain an authentic Catholic identity is truly inspiring! As you form this generation in the splendor of truth, the impact on the Church will be incalculable. Thank you for being a bright beacon of light to the world. May you remain anchored to Jesus Christ via the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and further your holy mission in great service to humanity.
