Christmas 2011

This Christmas was a little different for us.  Because of my job, we weren't able to take our normal 2 week Christmas vacation to spend the holidays with our families.  Ryan took a quick four day trip to see his parents, grandparents, and siblings the weekend before Christmas and I have plans to go to visit my grandparents in January.  While it has definitely been an usual break for us we have enjoyed the relaxing and time spent in our own home.

Here are some pictures of how we have spent our time since Ryan's Christmas break began.  We hope you all had a wonderful celebration of the Christ Child's birth and may your new year be filled with blessings and graces from God.

Reading a story with Grandma O'Connor.

Snoozing with Papa O.

Ryan laid on the couch to make a shot and now John Paul is
determined to make it from this position as well.  He has become
quite the little copycat!

After Mass on Christmas morning.

"Riding" on his elephant- with Daddy's help.

Giving his elephant a ride.

We weren't at the Hoffman Family Christmas but we still ate
the traditional Christmas feast.

Playing with his nativity set.  John Paul and his daddy have
re-enacted Mary and Joseph riding to the stable NUMEROUS times.

We may have an acrobat on our hands....
