Memorize these pictures well. It is a true reflection of the beauty and innocence of babies. And then they turn to children, and that's when your child turns 2 and repeatedly says to you, "I'm done with you , dad", and "no, no, and no." That's when you start to wonder why you ever wished that they would start walking and talking. If only they could be babies forever. (only without the crying, the diapers, and the constant needing)

Anyway, keep the updates coming. Prayers for you, Sarah, and BOC.

That is not a choice. That is LIFE!

From the Majority Opinion of the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade: "(The Plaintiff) urges that...life begins at conception and is present throughout pregnancy, and that, therefore, the State has a compelling interest in protecting that life from and after conception. We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man's knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer."

Are we at a new point in the development of man's knowledge yet?

ROC,
Interesting man. Checked out the website. There that town of Stuebenville Ohio appears again...I was worried that the center was in Minnesnowta!

One question for you, Are you trying to change the C to Catholicism and Christianity? (see ROC in picture with Hahn) I know da Bears were down this year. But that is abandonment and a possible copyright infringement. How fast you forget about the fridge, Payton, Berriam, ....

Catholicism is great and can stand on it's own without co-opting the C of da Bears.

Best Regards,

Coach.

Well, very interesting. Giving up a strong money making career doing something in the secular world to give oneself to one's Creator...Not many folks would do that. I knew a future pro-tennis player and MBA number cruncher who gave up lucrative careers to help kids like little lebowski's urban overachievers...

Not to put down widget makers, however giving one's self to the Lord would seem like a wise thing to do. From my perspective I don't know why more of us don't at least considerate it.

I know...give financially to the cause and we can live in our comfortable suburban two/ three car garage...5 bedroom 3 bathroom castles and feel like we are doing something.

Well thanks for shining light on this very interesting choice. I am going to continue reading about Tony La Russa and consider which is better...Think 24/7 about the Lord or about what to do with Albert to keep him in the lineup..etc...24/7.

stay strong in the mile high city...

Warren

As some of us aren't higher level thinkers...could you explain the video and it's significance. If it means that the yellow duo are parents in-waiting...that would be a true blessing. Those of us who faithly follow the blog would like weekly (or more) updates about the experiences as you'all approach the day of birth, and of course after the blessed day as well.

It is great to have another son/daughter of Notre Dame coming into the world. Babies of people who have met at Notre Dame are 93% to understand the legacy of Lou.

Congratulations.

Rudy.

Well, I smiled as I saw check 7240 clear knowing I was playing my small role in the new drapery and appliance allowance out in the mile-high city. The only thing that makes me happier is when melo throws down at the pepsi center...(can we mix ROC talk with yellow talk??_) Happy day in this time of joy...celebrate like your hair is on fire...as i know you are familiar with the reason for the season...yellowman.

Well that struck a chord. The problem in the world is that people don’t always want to find the truth... are more comfortable with deceit, deception, falsehood. Yes, it is a fallen world full of sin. The devil would have us follow the easier road and the trails of this road of deception are rampant in ourselves and the world. One of my greatest comforts has been that God knows the truth -the truth about what we/others said/did, did not say/do. I suppose at times that knowledge (hopefully) would be convicting if we are on the wrong path. And with that conviction we can choose truth over falsehood and correct our trajectory. Through the Holy Spirit's power we are enabled to seek the truth, act in truth, speak the truth. Hopefully we are seeking His power or we might not even “hunt” at all.
